The rules were simple. Keep my hands off his daughter and stay out of trouble.
But now I’m stuck with her. There’s only one bed. And well, rules are made to be broken.
I’m the face of professional bull riding—the golden boy. Or at least I was, until it all blew up in my face. Now my agent says I have to clean up my image, so I’m stuck with his ball-busting daughter for the rest of the season as my “full-time supervision.”
But I don’t need a goddamn babysitter, especially one with skin-tight jeans, a sexy smirk, and a mouth she can’t stop running.
A mouth I can’t stop thinking about.
Because Summer isn’t just another conquest. She sees the man behind the mask, and she doesn’t run—she pulls me closer, even when she shouldn’t.
She says this means nothing.
I say this means everything.
She says there are boundaries we shouldn’t cross. That my reputation can’t take any more hits—and neither can her damaged heart.
I say I’m going to steal it anyway.
Rhett Eaton: a bull riding star who is struggling to stay out of trouble. He is charming, handsome, and talented, but he also has a dark side. He is impulsive, reckless, and sometimes arrogant.
I’m accustomed to getting dressed down. Getting in trouble isn’t new, and I’m not about to roll over and take this from her.
Summer Hamilton: his new PR manager who is determined to help him clean up his image. She is kind, intelligent, and determined to help Rhett clean up his image. She is also a bit of a people pleaser and can be a bit naive.
Because in my last moments, I’d want to feel happy. If I step out of this car and get run down, I want to go out feeling good, not pissed off at some long-haired, broad-shouldered, round-assed cowboy.
The two characters are initially at odds, but they quickly develop a strong connection. Rhett is a charming but flawed man, while Summer is a kind and intelligent woman. Their relationship is full of humor, heat, and heart.
I want to take care of her, even though she doesn’t need taking care of.
The supporting characters are also well-developed and add to the story. Rhett's family is a close-knit group of ranchers who are fiercely protective of him. Summer's friends are a group of strong and independent women who offer her support.
The writing is sharp and witty, and the pacing is perfect. The story is full of steamy scenes, but it also has a lot of heart. Flawless is a feel-good romance novel that will leave you smiling.
Throughout "Flawless," the reader is presented with profound insights about self-acceptance and the importance of embracing one's imperfections. The protagonist's journey is not only about finding love but also about discovering their worth and recognizing the beauty in their flaws. It's a powerful message that lingers long after the final chapter.
"you’re going to waltz out in the world and be selfish for once. Take what you want and stop feeling guilty about it. Take it from me, guilt will eat you alive.”
The characters in the book are well-developed and relatable. The supporting characters are also well-developed, and they help to add depth to the story.
The heart of "Flawless" lies in its exploration of human emotions and the complexities of relationships. The author delves into themes of love, friendship, and family with remarkable sensitivity, capturing the nuances of human connections. Each interaction feels authentic, and the characters' interactions with one another are beautifully layered and deeply touching.
"I’ve spent years thinking I didn’t have someone who really supported me. But that was only because I hadn’t met you yet."
However, there were moments where the pacing felt slightly uneven, especially during the middle portion of the book. Certain scenes could have been streamlined to maintain the book's momentum, but this minor drawback does not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the story.
In conclusion, "Flawless" is a heartwarming and thought-provoking book that tugs at your heartstrings. With its well-drawn characters, poignant themes, and engaging storytelling, it's a novel that leaves a lasting impact. Whether you're seeking a touching love story or a tale of self-discovery, "Flawless" is a book that will satisfy your craving for emotional depth and genuine human connection.
