Ainsley Greenburg is a fixer.

It’s what she prides herself on.

So, when she realizes her marriage is at its breaking point, she makes a decision to repair it, no matter the cost. Approaching her husband to propose the arrangement is supposed to be the hard part, but Peter agrees to the salacious plan almost immediately.

The rules are simple:

They will each date someone new once a week.

They will never discuss what happens on the dates.

Soon, though, the rules are broken, turning terrible mistakes into unspeakable consequences.

When the only person they can count on to keep their darkest secret is each other, new questions and deceits surface. Can they truly trust the person they share a life with, or will the vicious lies that have mounted over the years destroy everything they’ve built?

Once, Peter and Ainsley vowed to stand together forever, but as they push boundaries of deception, suspicion, and temptation, each begins to wonder if ’til death do us part may come sooner than they’d intended.

Review
  • Ainsley Greenburg doesn't sit and let the time heal her wounds or fix her problems. she does it her own. Straight to the source .She's a good-looking ambitious woman with porcelain skin never a hair out of place, great doting mother, amazing friend and attentive wife to peter.

  • They've been married for so long. gone the honeymoon period, gone the early child parents period, now their kids are grownup or almost grown up and they've hit a patch and questions whether they should still stay together. Ainsley's trying many things to save her marriage couple counseling but it's not working so she proposed the idea of dating outside the marriage apprehensively.

  • maybe they've lost their individuality where initially they tried to impress each other but now they've grown too comfortable around them. She's not sure how good idea this is what if he thinks that she wants to leave or cheat or what if he's the one who agrees to the idea and ends up fall in love with someone else and peter knows it too he might say yes but he knows her wife is an remarkable woman who'd get swiped right in a day.

People like to pretend they have no control over the way their life turns out, but the truth is that they just refuse to deal with the hard stuff because it’s too painful and messy

  • OH MY GOD. I thought this book about is for mi-40's people who's trying to save their own marriage when I'm in my 20's single why am i reading this but thought let's try and i kept reading further further and left flagbustered.

  • this book is queen of twist and turns Not gonna leave spoilers cause I'm not one of those person your welcome but gonna leave few glimpse/hints. The story starts with open marriage concept dating outside for a while but who knows maybe that had been already happening. Lies are told, secrets are kept from her ,secrets have to be made to make everyone believe they are regular couple who has rock hiatus.

  • Usually i describe both character's but i won't about peter because peter thinks he knows everything and now needs to run the show but there's always one caption in the boat and he ain't.

  • You need to read the books. It shows how one think that they know everything, all steps are covered no one will find out, will make you question your next door neighbor couple. one's living in their own head forgetting even when your sleeping keep your eyes open.
