• Ava Chen always trust people easily. her brother Josh and Alex are very protective towards her because of nature, thinks anyone can deceive her. She's happy, optimistic, always stand by her friends but she doesn't like getting treated like fragile doll. She sees light cause she's seen dark.

• Alex Volkov doesn't care about anybody. he doesn't do anything for free. he tolerated josh as friends and has uncle .I broke hearts, crushed business opponents, and didn’t care about the aftermath.

I hated how much I wanted her, and I hated that she wasn’t smart enough to run away from me while she still had a chance.

Like he wanted to burn the world down at seeing me hurt.

• Ava wanted him to care. Ava has brother and friends who loves her but she's also been scarred been by someone who was supposed to love her. She wanted him to want her ,wanted him to care because of her, not because of a promise he’d made to her brother.

the way he moved toward me like a panther stalking its prey, his eyes bright with scorching intensity.

• World may think Alex has a heart of ice well which kind of he has but eber cheery ava makes him see good him in himself.

And he may not show it to the world, but he does have a heart. A beautiful one.”

• And they indeed get lost. ever since he become an orphan he's been driven by thing. revenge. every descision in his life he's taken to succed in his plan. Ava. There's only she much she can do. either her light wins or his darkness.

• It was hard to revirew this. cause this book was fast paced. in one chapter they are fighting their feeling and in anohter "MINE" appears. There's not much in "WHY" they'd fall for each other. except there's definstly lots of hotness and action. why this book is so famous? cause it's got all fiction list checked out. grumpy hero sunshine heroine. rich hero struggling heroine. "MINE" hero quick to forgive heroine.

Final Verdict

Got Drama , Murder, Banter, Fight, Love , Protective brother, Family drama, Friends. All in All quick read.
