• Lyla finally got courage to separate herself from those who didn't respect her. and especially her dad. She had enough. YOU GO GIRL!!!!. sometimes we let our closed ones takes us for granted to maintain the bond but you gotta set the boundaries no matter who they are to us.

• Gavin becomes more controlling and manipulative than he was. Gavin doesn't only wants her but needs her for him to be sane. In Book 1, Mia wanted and still wants sanity but now gavin wants for himself. Specially when he's to avenge two deaths, one his father & second his one and only best friend.

• Her friend Cameran is going through changes. before her life revolved around vinnie but now he's gone she doesn't know who she is. there's more than her look & sexiness and boy-drama. One thing she's not doing is letting someone else control life and settling before finding out she's and definitely not letting anyone her defined as a widow.

• Gavin had been absent because he was in jail so now there're more character. I love how Marcus is very intelligent super charming got backbone full hero material.

• and the mystery. PHANTOM. You gotta read this for it. not gonna say anything about it much but who knew that there's someone can make restless ever controlling Gavin.

Got angst, action, violence, romance ,banter fun. All in All good.
